The "Quality Label for Swiss Tourism" program


Quality is becoming an ever more decisive competitive tool in the tourism industry. More and more guests and clients are opting only for such offers as promise them a high standard of service and so are deemed to be worth what they cost. Tourism providers, meanwhile, are having to cope with ever changing requirements on the part of their guests and with ever more competition from both Swiss and international competitors.

The program aims to enhance quality consciousness and promote cooperation among providers and to keep the standard of service here in Switzerland, as a tourist destination, at a consistently high level - if not to raise it still more.

Level I:
Level I of the Quality Label program will sensitize for quality with the top-level seal of approval

Level I will concentrate on quality assurance and concern itself above all with service quality.

Level II:
Level II of the Quality Label program will introduce comprehensive quality controls

Once Level I has been completed, then Level II of the Quality Label program can begin. Level II will concentrate on measuring quality and concern itself above all with management quality.

Stufe III:
Level III of the Quality Label program will introduce comprehensive quality management

Level III will lead to an internationally recognized, comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS). The aim here is continuous further development.
